Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea, who began appearing as a part-time actress on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, began her career by performing stand-up comedy in 2011. As early as 2012 Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After she won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear frequently in panel shows. From 2016 to 2017 she was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as a frequent participant for the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her include Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was awarded the So You think You're Funny Award twice. Bea the name she was given as her maiden name, pays tribute to her dad who died in the year 2000. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she was thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father. She published an article in The Guardian in 2017 about the suicide of her family members. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were raised in a home by Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. They were obsessed with racing as well as horses. Bea was initially tourist guides at the Irish National Stud. But she realized her love was acting, not racing.
